Abstract:

Objective: People who have higher social health can more successfully deal with the challenges and ups and downs of playing key social roles and participate more in collective activities and prevent social deviations and anomalies. In this regard, foresight and the development of a forward-looking strategy model by the media can play an important role in promoting the social health of their audience (individuals).Method: This research has been done qualitatively and quantitatively. In the qualitative phase, content analysis and Q methods were used, and in the quantitative phase, factor analysis was used to analyze the Q method data. Results: The content analysis of the media in this study showed that the most media production in the field of social deviations with 576 cases and the lowest media production in the field of violence with 237 cases. The field of social quality with 485 and the field of social issues with 312 cases are in the second and third ranks. A small questionnaire was made and based on it, the desired model was designed using PLS software. Conclusion: This model showed that the function of media is effective in promoting social health of society and can have the greatest impact on improving quality of life, reducing violence, reducing social deviations and social issues.

Abstract:

Background & Purpose: Generally, long-term activities in unappropriated work environment would result in employee burnout and job turnover. In this condition, Employee Resilience attracted scholars’ attention and refers to employee ability for continue activities in unappropriated situation. Also, Human resource functions as set of programs that managers can use, have important role for employee resilience. Since most of health care personnel works on unappropriated situation, this research has been conducted to propose a novel Resilience Human Resource Management functions (RHRMF) model with a focus on public health care system. Methodology: The current study uses a mixed qualitative-quantitative research approach. In the qualitative phase, 14 semi-structured interviews have been carried out with a research statistical population including human resource managers and experts of health care organizations by snowball sampling method based on theoretical saturation. Finally, the conceptual framework of the RHRMF model has been developed based on a thematic analysis. In the quantitative phase, the proposed model has been validated based on the Structural Equation modeling. Findings: After analyzing the interviews, 18 subsidiary themes as well as five main themes were identified as Resilience Human Resource functions including workforce relations, compensation, recruitment, development, and performance management. Conclusion: With a GOF value of 0. 529, the Structural Equation modeling indicates acceptaed validity and a strong modelling fit for the outcomes of the proposed model.

Abstract:

Background: In Iran, over 19% of the population are suffering from heart diseases. Understanding and modifying its risk factors can decrease its morbidity and mortality rate. Planning requires information about present knowledge and performance of the people. The purpose of this study was to determine factors related to preventive behaviors for heart diseases in the students of Islamic Azad university of Sabzevar based on health Belief model (HBM)Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out on 270 students of Islamic Azad University of Sabzevar. The subjects were selected using stratified random sampling. Data collection was performed through a questionnaire designed according to HBM and was completed by self-administeration. A panel of experts approved the validity of the questionnaire and its reliability was verified by means of cronbach alpha test (N=30, a=0.68%-0.86%).The data were then analyzed by SPSS version15.0 software using descriptive and analytical statistics (t-test, ANOVA, Regression analysis and Pearson correlation). Results: According to the results, the mean score of preventive behaviors for heart diseases among students was 10.41 out of 16. The subjects mostly followed preventive behaviors for heart diseases (65%).of the subjects, 23.8% were overweight or obese most of whom were males over 24 years and married. Perceived barriers, guide for action and preventive behaviors of heart diseases were related to parent education. Among the extended health belief model variables, there was a significant correlation between the presence of guide for action and self efficacy on preventive behaviors for heart diseases. These variables explained 14.6% of variance of preventive behaviors of heart diseases. Mass media (TV& Radio) was the most important source of information. Conclusion: The mean of heart diseases preventive behaviors was moderate among students, however, a significant percentage of students were overweight. Based on the results, using mass media and increasing self efficacy in the field of training programs can improve the preventive behaviors for heart diseases.

Abstract:

Background and Aim: An assessment framework is necessary in order to achieve the goals of health system in any country. The current study was done with the aim of measuring the effects of the aspects of performances on realization of health system goals.Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional, descriptiveanalytic which was carried out during the years 2014-2015. Four hundred and nineteen experts among all experts in the area of health by snowball and cluster sampling participated in the study. Collecting data was performed through the questionnaire of health system Perfomance Assessment. The questionnaire’s validity was confirmed using content validity method and its reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data was analyzed by means of Pearson correlation coefficient test and Regression using SPSS 22 software. Results: The results of Pearson correlation coefficient test showed that the two component functions on equitable access to health services, the functions of protection against financial risks and actions on targets were equal to 0.827, 0.655 and 0.870. Respectively the results of the test showed 87% of the variance explained the aims of the functional components. Thus, we conclude that the functions of the financial risk for changes in standard deviation units and functions on equitable access to health services was as much as 0.655, and 0.827 predictable. Conclusion: Since the aspects of performances influence the realization of health system goals, investigating the effects of performances on the health system goals can help policymakers and managers to improve the performance through identifying weaknesses and strengths, review of interventions and healthcare reform, and the management of the health system.

Abstract:

Dear Editor: Similar to many countries, Iran is committed to achieving universal health coverage. As such several laws have been approved regarding rehabilitation services. Examining these laws shows that there are many legal challenges in the functions of the health system including procurement, financing, resource production, service delivery and accountability, and service quality. Also, the problems of governance in Iran include unbalanced policies and laws, irresponsible intervention, weak all-round supervision, lack of thoughtful and compassionate management, and inconsistency within and between departments. In addition, rehabilitation financing in Iran is unbalanced. In the third chapter of the law of the sixth development plan, the challenges and problems of supportive institutions, especially the lack of credit and coverage gaps were brought into attention. It was emphasized that the needs cannot be met with direct support approaches. Contrary to many countries that have specific laws for recording and analyzing information for disabled people, Iran is in its initial stages of forming a database for them. Furthermore, the comprehensive law on the protection of the rights of the disabled in 2013 is not a right-oriented law emphasizing the recognition, and does not guarantee their rights equal to ordinary people, instead, it has a welfare perspective on the issue. The presence of government organizations such as Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, and the National Welfare Organization has caused the law to become a support-economic with the dominant discourse of rehabilitation instead of empowering disabled people and becoming a budget-oriented law.

Abstract:

In order to predict the behavior of soil-related phenomena, it is necessary to have knowledge about unsaturated flow and using models that provide optimal estimates of the retention curve and hydraulic conductivity of soils. Despite the widespread use of the classic van Genuchten-Mualem model (VGM), this model usually performs poorly in predicting hydraulic conductivity and modification of some of its parameters seems necessary. In this research, 283 soils from different textures of the UNSODA bank were selected and divided into two sections of calibration and validation and their soil parameters were exported and categorized. Then, by defining the modified unsaturated hydraulic conductivity (Ksc) instead of the saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks) and determining the limits for l and n parameters, the hydraulic conductivity-moisture function of VGM were solved using 24600 pairs of points li and nj for each soil of the three main soil texture classes. In the following, the optimal l value (l̂) of each texture class was selected based on the minimum value of the hydraulic conductivity estimation error using the root mean square error (RMSE) index and the n values that had created the minimum errors, were selected as the optimal pore size distribution coefficients of the hydraulic conductivity-moisture function (n̂opt). In order to create pedotransfer functions for estimating n̂opt, we ran stepwise regression in MATLAB software considering the condition of statistical significance (P-value=0.05) for independent variables and functions for each soil texture class. After creating pedotransfer functions, the results of the proposed method of this research (MVGM) were compared with the VGM results using RMSE and Nash-Sutcliffe (NSE) indices. The results showed that in both sections of creation and validation functions, the MVGM performed better in estimating hydraulic conductivity and had a higher efficiency index in all textural classes of soil.
